IRELAND: Dingle peninsular

Hat: H&M, Jacket: Portmans, Dress: Nasty Gal, Socks: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Kmart, Necklace: DKNY, Watch: Michael Kors

How gorgeous is this coastline? It reminded me of the Great Ocean Road in the south of Australia but a little colder and a lot more overcast. Driving around the edge of the coastline was breathtaking. The beaches were beautiful, and the high cliffs made for great lookout points. It was like driving through a real life post card... the countryside meets the coastline- best of both worlds!

This outfit is my staple go to outfit, easy to wear and comfortable. Loose dress, leather jacket, and tights+boots. Add some high knee socks and a hat and you get a pretty cool festival outfit! Or...Irish sightseeing outfit? I originally bought this jacket from Portmans (Australia) for my mothers Birthday last year..but it 'conveniently' didn't fit her so, score I kept it ;)

Thanks Dan and Ash for being my blogger photographers....great focus :D Incredible pictures I will cherish forever.

Ireland: Ring of Kerry

Top: Witchery, Jeans: Vintage, Scarf: gift from my mum, Faux fur vest: Forever 21, Necklace: DKNY, Boots: Kmart, Sunglasses: Ray Ban

So after the Blarney Castle, we set off on a road trip to do the famous ring of Kerry. It was the most beautiful scenery and it felt like we were in a fairy tale. The towns are so quaint, and the stone walls look so medieval and the coastline looks exactly like a postcard. When you are doing a road trip, you don't want to unpack everything, every single night and then pack it up the next morning. So when we arrived at the cute little town of Dingle I threw on this very versatile faux fur vest (eww never wear real fur)
Dingle is an adorable little town on the coastline which has like most Irish towns....pubs. It is also known for a very famous and iconic dolphin called fungi! When we were driving out of Dingle the next morning we saw so many dolphins in the bay so we pulled over on the side of the road to take a look. They were amazing, there was probably close to 50. It was a magical way to start the day! I swear one of them was definitely fungi ;)

Ireland: The Blarney Castle

Hat and T-shirt: H&M, Vest: Forever 21, Leather pants: Bardot, Shoes: Nike

Legend says if you kiss the Blarney Stone, you will be blessed with "the gift of the gab". Well, our poor friend Dan who was taking us on this epic road trip around Ireland was hoping it would have the reverse effect after being stuck in a car with my sister and I for 6 hours a day.

The Blarney Castle was incredible! The grounds around the castle are lush and green and surrounding the castle or these cool underground caves people used to escape through. We walked up a very narrow stone stair case and when we reached the top the views were incredible. It didn't feel too safe, as there were metal bars preventing a potential 100 metre drop. We walked around the edge of the castle to the famous blarney stone. I was expecting one rock on some kind of podium that everyone reaches up to kiss....boy was i wrong. It is hard to explain but basically you lie on your back on the roof of the castle while a man supports you as you lean back and kiss the bottom stone of the edge. This doesn't make any sense but can you see it better in the photo below. That gap is where you lean across to kiss ledge. I think is worked because two weeks later i aced a 6 hour interview and got a job in London!

Ireland: Cork

Jacket: Portmans, Dress: Forever 21, Scarf: Primark, Boots: Kmart, Bag: Louis Vuitton

Disclaimer alert: Lack of blogging is due to my stressful full time job...sorry better late than never right?

Top of the morning! Ash and I travelled to Ireland to visit our good friend Dan. It has been a long time coming but we finally made it! And as usual...ash and I packed at the last minute and didn't sleep at all. We flew into Dublin had a quick stopover in Kildare and then headed off on a road trip to Cork.
Traveling to Ireland has been a dream of ours for a long time....well ever since I saw the movie PS I Love you (saddest movie EVER) but it was shot in the beautiful countryside of Ireland.
Also, another reason to visit Ireland= Irish men?! How can anyone resist an Irish accent...well thats if you can understand them first!

We walked around the beautiful little city of Cork, with its canals, bridges, shops and .....PUBS. After eating dinner at a pub, we decided to go search for a traditional...you guessed it, Pub! We came across the oldest little quaint pub that had a live traditional Irish band playing in the corner and of course the first drink of the trip had to be no other than a glass of BAILEYS! mmmm yummm

The night than proceded with a tour of the city..AKA a pub crawl. Could not have planned a better first night in Ireland! Cork has the best pubs and most of them have great live music.
