Who doesn't need a little motivation once in a while? I am not striving for skin and bones, but this year I am working towards a toned and healthy body. I have always eaten fairly healthy but since moving to the UK I have gained so much weight due to excessive drinking and minimal exercise. One of the things I miss and appreciate the most about Australia is the healthy lifestyle! Everyone is always at the gym and eating healthy...the fruit is amazing! It is most likely due to the weather because who feels like eating a big hot meal when it is 38 degrees? I know that once I move back home in March that I will be playing tennis all the time and hitting the gym with my sisters and the weight will come off. But I am not going to wait till years resolution to get to my goal weight of 54kg starts NOW. In order to lose weight I am going to stick to a few guide lines;

* No Alcohol Sunday-Thursday
* No complex carbs after 5pm
*No refined sugar or processed foods
* Stick to vegetables and protein/good fats for most meals
* Eat clean and unnecessary snacking
*For drinks: coconut water, green tea and water with lemon

I will share my weight loss journey with you guys and share what works for me and what doesn't. I have been wanting to lose weight for so long and have always made up excuses or put it off longer. So to keep me on track I am going to post my transformation- I will post as often as I can and it will include how much weight I have lost, my meal plan, workout summary and if I am brave enough!
This is the year that I get my dream bod and keep the weight off! Who is with me?

New Year, New Me #2015

I had a great new years eve this year. I danced the night away with friends and I even had a random count down kiss!
 NYE is usually the most over rated night of the year but something about a new year always excites me. Every year I set goals, resolutions and plans that I never keep. And every year brings more adventure, new challenges and new beautiful memories. I have always be a naturally very ambitious person but my go with the flow and wanderlust attitude has always taken over. In your early 20s I think its the perfect time to travel the world, work random jobs, date different guys, experiment with different substances and experience EVERYTHING! No one wants to sit there with three screaming kids saying, 'I wish I did this'.

I have always had a #yolo attitude but lately I have had an overwhelming sensation that it it is time to settle down a little. I have lived in 3 different continents for years at time and all before my 25th Birthday. I haven't found my career, my soulmate (cringe I know) or have any investments. I do believe in John Lennons statement 'life is what happens when you are busy making other plans' but I still can't help that I need to at least be in one city long enough to make plans. I turn 25 next year and although my passion for travelling will never be subdued I think I want to move home. I love London, but after 2 years in this intoxicating city I have well and truly exhausted its elements. This year is going to be the year that I set goals and actually stick to them...this year is going to be big!

Watch out 2015 you will be my b*tch!
- I am going to have the best final 3 months in London
-Move back home for a month...will be so good to be with my family again!
- Go on the most amazing family holiday: LA, Vegas, Cancun, Cuba! (My sister is getting married...eek!)
- Work out and finally have my dream body
- Move to Sydney and find my dream job
- Start fresh in Sydney; friends, apartment, lifestyle
- fall in love xx
- run a marathon

And of course to blog more!

I know these may sound bold but I have no doubt in my mind that I wont acheive most if not all of them. Of course I have a list of more personal resolutions but hey you can't go publishing all your deepest and darkest faults or insecurities you wish to change do you ? haha.

I want a fresh start... and I know that this is going to be a great year. Because the only thing that can get in the way of me achieving my goals for this year is me! I am going to be more positive, more productive and overall a lot more healthier in mind, body and soul. I want this year to be the foundations I set for my future...

I hope everyone has a fabulous 2015!
